PERMANENT JEWELLERY
in scarborough
Imagine designing your perfect piece of jewellery, fitted exactly how you want it and never needing to take it off.
That’s exactly what permanent jewellery is. At Bond by Aimee, - the first permanent jewellery experience in Scarborough - I help you to create bespoke bracelets, necklaces, and anklets that are custom fitted to you and delicately welded closed for a seamless, clasp-free finish.
Begin by choosing your chain, then personalise your piece with beautiful connectors and charms that reflect your style and personality.
Crafted from high-quality sterling silver, gold-filled, or solid 14ct gold, each piece is designed to be worn every day and made to last.
Whether you’re treating yourself, celebrating a milestone, or sharing a meaningful moment with friends or family, permanent jewellery is a timeless way to stay connected.
What is Permanent Jewellery?
Hi, I’m Aimee — a mum to two beautiful children who inspired me to step outside my comfort zone and turn my passion for jewellery into something real. For as long as I can remember, I’ve loved jewellery - I’ve been lovingly referred to as a ‘magpie’ by my family since I was tiny!
I had my first piece of permanent jewellery fitted two years ago in London and instantly fell in love with the experience - the meaning behind it, the craftsmanship, and the magic of watching something so delicate become part of you. After adding more permanent pieces last year, I knew I wanted to bring that same special experience people in Scarborough.
When you visit, you’ll be welcomed into my cosy home studio for a relaxed, one-to-one experience. We’ll chat, choose your perfect chain and details together, and create a unique piece of jewellery designed just for you — whether it’s to celebrate a milestone, a bond, or simply yourself.
I can’t wait to meet you and create something beautiful together ✨

Frequently Asked Questions
-
Permanent jewellery is a custom-fit piece—such as a bracelet, anklet, or necklace—that is welded closed rather than secured with a clasp. It’s designed to be worn every day as a seamless, meaningful accessory.
-
It’s called “permanent” because there’s no clasp, but it can be removed if needed by simply cutting the chain. Many people wear their pieces for years without taking them off.
-

Every piece is unique - but as a ballpark, bracelets start from £45, anklets from £55 and necklaces from £65. Charms and connectors start from £15.
-
Yes, completely. The welding process is quick, painless, and performed using professional jewellery equipment. A protective barrier is always placed between your skin and the spark to ensure comfort and safety.
I am fully insured, trained and certified.
-
Not at all. The process is over in seconds and you won’t feel the weld—just a small flash of light.
-
We offer bracelets, anklets, and necklaces, with a range of delicate chains. You can also personalise your piece with connectors and charms for a unique finish.
I stock a selection of connectors and charms, but if you want something specific, let’s chat before your appointment and I can see if I can source it for you.
-
All jewellery is made from high-quality, skin-safe metals including sterling silver, gold-filled, and solid 14ct gold—perfect for everyday wear.
-
Absolutely! Permanent jewellery is a beautiful experience to share with friends, family members, partners, or loved ones. Many people choose matching or complementary pieces to celebrate their bond. You can visit me at my home studio - or I can come to you.

If you ever need to remove your jewellery, it can be safely cut off. In some cases, it can even be re-welded at a later date.
-
